"Time Stands Still" Animation. April 2021.
This was my final project for my Methods and Concepts II class. We were instructed to experiment with the concept of time. We were told to create any art piece we wanted to show the passage of time. I decided to experiment with animation for this project.
The song used is "My Ordinary Life" by The Living Tombstone. The animation tells the story of a sad, young girl who finds solace in her artwork. When she starts creating art and listening to music, she is transported into a magical world inside her head. Fantastical things occur. When the music starts to fade out and distort, the character realizes time is running out. At the end of the song, the character is shown as an older woman, surrounded by all the art she created. The animation is supposed to represent how time stands still when the character is in her "own little world". In reality, time never stands still and she spent all of her time creating art. All drawings were done digitally on Procreate and the video editing was done using iMovie on a 6th Gen iPad.

"The Outsider" Animatic. May 2020.
This was my final project for my Digital Media Design I class. We were instructed to experiment with a certain type of animation. I chose to animate a character and create a short storyline.
The song used is "The Outsider" by MARINA. The animatic tells the story of a college girl and how she feels about her roommates. All drawings were done digitally on Procreate and the video editing was done using Adobe After Effects.
